Slingshot Now Available Globally

Slingshot650The rest of the world can now “sling” their “shots,” as Facebook announced the global release of photo- and video-sharing application Slingshot, which debuted in the U.S. last week.

Slingshot allows users to share photos and videos with their friends, under one condition: Users will not be able to see shots from their friends until they sling something back in return.

The app is now available globally for iOS and Android devices.

The announcement of Slingshot’s global availability came in the form of a blog post:

Since we launched last week, we’ve heard from lots of people around the world who are excited to give Slingshot a try. Starting today, we’re expanding our initial launch and making Slingshot available internationally!

You can find Slingshot in app stores around the world for iPhone (iOS 7) and Android (Jelly Bean and KitKat) at http://sling.me/download.

This past week we’ve seen people share such terrific shots, face mashes, and drawings. We can’t wait for what happens next!

Readers: Have you tried out Slingshot? What are your thoughts?
