How often do you post to a company’s Facebook page and receive direct feedback? Your chances at getting a response are better if you’re talking to a telecommunications company or an airline, according to a study from Socialbakers.
Socialbakers recently released this graph, showing which industries are best at responding to fans on Facebook:
Socialbakers then broke each industry down into brands. Here are the worldwide industry leaders, in terms of response rate:
- Airline: KLM, 94.14 percent
- Telecommunications: Claro, 96.99 percent
- Automobile: Chevrolet Colombia, 77.78 percent
- Fashion: Next, 90.45 percent
- Finance: DNB, 94.95 percent
- Alcohol: Cerveceria Kross, 88.35 percent (although Guinness Indonesia did have an impressive average response time of 65 minutes)
- Electronics: Acer Indonesia, 95.05 percent
- Retail: Trendyol, 88.15 percent
- Media: Yes Comedy, 84.80 percent
Looking for American companies? You’d have to search through the least responsive list. Some examples:
- EBay, 4.80 percent
- BlackBerry, 4.12 percent
- US Airways, 0 percent
- Chevrolet, 2.62 percent
- Victoria’s Secret, 4.76 percent
- Adidas Originals, 0.27 percent
