Facebook Testing Suggested Posts In News Feed

Facebook appears to be testing yet another type of ad unit: Suggested posts, which are showing up in both the desktop and mobile news feeds of some users of the social network, as reported by sister blog Inside Facebook.

The new suggested posts join sponsored stories, which are seen only by users who have liked a brand’s Facebook page, and page post ads, which can be served to any users, in a seemingly more crowded news feed, with the mobile news feed also containing mobile app install ads.
