Data-focused software-as-a-service provider SumAll announced the completion of a $6 million series-A capital-financing round led by Battery Ventures, with Wellington Partners participating, as well.

SumAll helps users collect and digest data from Facebook and other social networks and websites including Twitter, Google Analytics, eBay, Amazon, PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net, Instagram, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.

Users can see their full social histories, updated in real-time, and use the dashboard to segment the data to fit their needs, by geography, demographics, and actions including page views and clicks.

SumAll said the funding round included a $500,000 contribution to the SumAll.org Foundation, a charitable trust established by employees.

SumAll CEO Dane Atkinson said:

We are very focused on culture and honored to build on our existing relationships with Battery Ventures and Wellington Partners, which share our vision and support our focus in making a unique user experience, and, of course, to pay for our servers, which grow 10 percent a week.
