Facebook At SXSW: More Than 1 Billion Instances Of App Activity Shared Daily

More than 1 billion instances of application activity are shared via Facebook on a daily basis, and a total of more than 400 billion open graph actions have been shared on the social network, Facebook announced at SXSW 2013 Sunday.

Other figures shared by the social network at the annual confab in Austin:

  • 110 million songs, albums, and radio stations have been played 40 billion times via apps integrated with Facebook.
  • 1.47 million books have been shared via apps integrated with Facebook, resulting in the publishing of 40 million related actions.
