Facebook marketing and page-management firm TabSite debuted an application that allows page administrators to add contests involving photo-sharing app Instagram to their pages.

The Instagram Contest app permits page admins to create, promote, and manage contests based on the photo-sharing app, which are located behind tabs and incorporate the Instagram hashtags specified by brands, as well as @mentions of the brands’ handles.

Entries can be shared with friends and followers on Facebook, Instagram, and other social network, and brands can schedule social message to promote their contests.
