More brands are learning that one of the keys to Facebook marketing is engagement. Taco Bell has aced this test. A high school swimmer posted to the restaurant’s Facebook page, asking for a Speedo that read, “Think Outside The Buns.” Taco Bell not only responded to the post, but sent the young man branded swimwear.
Taco Bell has been one of the most popular fast food brands on Facebook and Twitter, and the following exchange is one example why.
On Dec. 20, student-athlete Ryan Klarner posted this message to Taco Bell’s Facebook page:
Apparently, Taco Bell not only responded, but came through. Klarner commented on the post Monday, saying that the Speedo should be in his possession later this week.
