With ratings and reviews on Facebook pages becoming a more prominent part of marketing strategies, MomentFeed, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, added a feature to its digital marketing platform that allows brands to monitor ratings and reviews on the pages of multiple locations via a single interface.
In June, Facebook announced that status updates could include “clickable” hashtags. Users have been sticking hashtags on Facebook posts for years, but since they weren’t clickable, they were sort of insider jokes for their friends and fans. But they’ve been a popular way for users to track conversations and topics on Twitter, Instagram, and Google Plus, and, since social networks often steal popular features from competitors, it wasn’t a big surprise to see hashtags make their way to Facebook.
The most popular Facebook page in Australia in June, by likes, was Tourism Australia, which is not much of a surprise, considering the fact that the top category by likes Down Under is airlines, travel, and tourism, according to a study by digital ad agency Online Circle Digital.
