BlackBerry users can now download an update to their Facebook applications, Facebook v10.2.0 for BlackBerry 10, which brings a redesigned News Feed, as well as several improvements to the process of uploading and viewing photos.
PastBook, one of several companies that allow Facebook users to publish their content on the social network in actual books, announced the integration of Filepicker.io into its book-creation wizard, making it easier for users to select content for their books.
After donation $100 million in Facebook stock, Mark Zuckerberg joined mayor Cory Booker at one of the schools in Newark, New Jersey. The mayor posted a number of photos of the event to his Flickr stream and we’ve embedded the slideshow of the event below. Unfortunately we don’t know what Mark discussed, however we can only guess that he was fielding questions from students about how to create the next Facebook.
Last week we covered the new album sizes that Facebook had begun testing with some users. As of today, the new album sizes are official as Facebook announced it on their blog. According to the post, image thumbnails have also been expanded.
For those of you who use Facebook albums regularly, you will be happy to learn that Facebook’s 60 photo album limit is being increased. A number of users have been reporting the increase and have sent me photos of albums with hundreds of photos in them. The one pictured below have 175 photos in the Facebook album. There’s no word on how large on an increase it is, or if Facebook has removed the limit all together.
