Users’ privacy is a perpetual hot-button issue for Facebook, and the social network announced several steps Thursday aimed at simplifying users’ efforts to control who sees their content, including changing the default privacy setting on new users’ posts to friends from public, and starting the rollout of a new, expanded privacy checkup tool to help users review their settings.
Facebook recently released some interesting stats about the attendance and social activity surrounding its f8 conference last week in San Francisco.
Most mobile applications include social logins, and Facebook Login is the most-used one by a healthy margin. At its F8 global developer conference in San Francisco Wednesday, the social network introduced a new Anonymous Login feature for developers to include in their apps, as well as a new version of its standard Login, and a redesigned app control panel.
