Facebook Gifts, which was highly promoted by the site on Valentine’s Day, has apparently given its main page a bit of an aesthetic upgrade. Sister site Inside Facebook wrote Friday that the main interface of Gifts has changed, but only for those users who have already given presents through the site.

Facebook has developed what they believe to be a sufficient solution to the dashboard privacy flaw that we’ve covered over the past few weeks: an application activity privacy setting. With the new layout, Facebook users can visit their applications privacy settings and change a new setting that lets you “Control who can see your activity in the Friends’ Recent Activity, Friends’ Applications and Friends’ Games sections” of the application and games dashboards (pictured below).

Facebook has begun making the application and games dashboards available in beta to Facebook developers for testing purposes. While it may be available to more than just developers, the links to the preview pages were not visible to those users who don’t have the Facebook developers application installed based on users we’ve spoken to. While Facebook posted last week that they would be rolling out dashboards in the “coming weeks”, we didn’t expect them to make the service widely available so quickly.
