Facebook Launches New Events Layout

New Events Icon

This morning Facebook rolled out a new design for events, moving the previous sidebar to the left hand sign and making things much cleaner. The new events design also includes much larger call-to-actions at the top right of the event, asking users to select “I’m Attending”, “Maybe”, or “No” as was previously the case. With New Site Design, Facebook Will Release New Ads Format

New Facebook Ads Icon

New Facebook Ads IconBack in April of last year Facebook began testing a new ad format, but not until the latest design screenshots did we begin to see the new format reappear. Also interestingly enough, Facebook is currently displaying automatically generated “Suggestions” above the advertisements. The reason I call it “interesting” is that we would expect this to detract from the ads which are generating revenue for Facebook.
