The sorting options present in Facebook’s redesigned News Feed for desktop have made their way to the iOS application. Many iOS users have seen a prompt on their main screen to see more feeds. Below that is a News Feed button they can tap, giving them options similar to the right-hand side of the desktop feed.

If you looked at Facebook’s introduction of stickers for messaging (snuck into the latest iOS update) and wondered why they’re on your phone, you’re probably not the target demographic. Stickers, which are essentially supersized emoticons, have been a popular feature in Asian messaging applications such as Line and KakaoTalk. Not only do people use stickers, they pay for them. Stickers have been a major revenue source for Line, and it appears that Facebook may try to enter that market.

Facebook Chat Heads, Stickers Coming To IOS

Although Apple will likely not cede the iPhone’s home screen for Facebook Home, iOS users Tuesday will get access to Chat Heads capability. Facebook announced that iPhone and iPad users will have this update sometime Tuesday and be able to use the company’s newest messaging feature. Additionally, iPad owners will be switched over to the redesigned News Feed with this update.

Facebook’s Android application wasn’t the only one to receive a facelift Thursday. The social network also announced that its native iOS app received a slight upgrade, as Facebook improved the speed and offered users the ability to choose an album when uploading photos from their iPhone or iPad.

Facebook Tests Photo Sync On IOS Devices

In September, Facebook tested Photo Sync for Android, allowing users the choice of instantly uploading photos to Facebook (but to an album only they can see) when they are taken. TechCrunch reported Monday that the social network is bringing Photo Sync to Apple devices.
