As the Fourth of July holiday approaches, Facebook offered some statistics pulled from three of the more social applications on its app center to help their users plan their holiday soundtracks, menus, and beach reading lists.
Social recipe network Foodily announced the launch of its tastemaker team of chefs, authors, celebrities, and health experts, and Facebook users will have easy access to their content via the Foodily Facebook or iPhone applications or Foodily.com.
In just a few weeks, the more than 60 applications upgraded for timeline have managed to increase their new user signups by as much as fivefold.
