Brands that have an international presence just got a major boost, courtesy of Facebook. The site announced Wednesday Global Pages for companies that want to reach out to consumers in other countries. Through this new layout, brands can establish one global identity.
International brands constantly face the challenge of launching a campaign or promotion that’s targeted toward a specific country, but must launch the application on their global brand page. That results in backlash from the fans located outside of the region where the offer is available.
If current growth trends continue, Asia and South America will outgrow Europe on Facebook sometime next year.
