Facebook has been trying to give users options for social commerce, such as proposing a “want” feature. Chirpify took it one step further. The social commerce platform recently teamed up with country singer Tim McGraw for an interesting promotion. Facebook users who already have Chirpify accounts were able to purchase McGraw’s newest album simply by commenting, “buy.”
Rock the Vote teamed up with social media promotions startup PromoJam on a digital campaign leading up to the 2012 presidential election Nov. 6, in which various tactics will be used to reach Rock the Vote’s target of registering 1.5 million voters between the ages of 18 and 29, including the ever-present Facebook like button.
