Video has been proclaimed as the next big thing in Facebook marketing. LittleCast, a direct-to-fan video marketing and ecommerce platform, announced two new video players Tuesday to help Facebook brands create a more meaningful connection with their fans. When utilized on Facebook pages, LittleCast videos received 10 times the number of likes, 11 times the shares, five times the comments, and 30 times the impressions than videos linked from YouTube.
Consumption of videos has exploded on Facebook in recent months, and custom-video-player creator LittleCast has created four viral video platforms to help brands take advantage, with some big-name musical talent already on board.
Facebook users who have ever viewed funny videos that have gone viral and thought to themselves, “I can do this,” will now have the chance to win up to $1,000 if they can convince other users to pay to watch their videos, as part of the “So, You Think You’re Funny” contest from LittleCast, which enables its users to produce videos and charge for views.
