Facebook is giving page administrators more options through its iOS and Android native applications. AllFacebook reader Matteo Gamba of Wimdu recently realized that he is able to promote posts through his iOS app. This feature is also available on Android. Previously, users could only pay to give posts more reach through the Pages Manager app.

Facebook has been trying new ways to get page administrators to pay to promote posts. Most recently, the social network tweaked the wording on the “promote” button on the admin page. Now, Facebook is placing a module on select News Feeds, asking page admins to promote recent posts that gained a lot of engagement. AllFacebook reader Matteo Gamba of Wimdu noticed that he was asked to advertise one of his page’s posts.
