The fifth amendment to Facebook’s initial public offering filing contained a warning that Yahoo found 16 more patents that “may be relevant” to the patent-infringement lawsuit it filed against Facebook in March.
The latest volley in the unpopular patent-infringement lawsuit Yahoo filed against Facebook last month was fired by Yahoo, which claimed in a court filing today that it is not infringing on any of Facebook’s patents, along with adding two more of its own patents to the list of those allegedly being violated by the social network.
Canadian communications outfit Mitel Networks is suing Facebook for patent-infringement regarding “proactive features for telephony” and an “automatic web page generator.”
