Facebook Releases Second Global Government Requests Report, Adds Requests To Restrict, Remove Content
Facebook announced the release of the second edition of its Global Government Requests Report, and this time around, it added government requests to restrict or remove content to the information it previously provided on government requests for account information.
UPDATED: The final episode of AMC’s hit drama, “Breaking Bad,” aired Sunday night, and more than 3 million Facebook users generated more than 5.5 million interactions during the show, according to the social network, which added that in the series’ fifth and final season alone, there have been 23.68 million posts and interactions related to “Breaking Bad,” from 11.14 million unique users.
Facebook played a part in an operation led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that resulted in 10 arrests related to an international cyber-criminal network that was believed to have infected some 11 million computers and caused more than $850 million in total losses.
