You might have noticed, when searching on Facebook for a brand page, that other related companies show up in the search results. Facebook last month rolled out sponsored results as a new way for advertisers to get more bang for their buck, and so far, it’s working pretty well.

Facebook introduced a way for developers to retrieve users’ profile pictures for use within their applications in different sizes, rather than resizing and scaling them into a standard space.

Facebook will increase the size of profile images on timeline pages to 160 pixels by 160 pixels, from 125 by 125, the social network announced in an email to page owners, saying the change will be implemented Thursday.
