Many of Facebook’s more than 1 billion monthly active users would agree — the site is great, but could use some improvement. As users complain about ads, a cluttered and confusing interface, and several other things, there are a few things that Facebook could implement to make the site much more palatable. Here are five innovations (some possible, some rather imaginative) that we think would improve Facebook.

Facebook users have been seeing more sponsored stories in their mobile and desktop news feeds, saying, “(Friend) likes (brand).” But as a report on ReadWrite notes, several users have seen their names (or those of their friends) attached to pages they haven’t liked.
Billionaire Mark Cuban used his blog on The Huffington Post to clarify his thoughts on Facebook and his dissatisfaction with the social network’s page algorithm, saying that Facebook is behaving more like a search engine in trying to deliver content to its users’ news feeds based on relevancy and engagement.
