National Geographic blew away the competition in October according to the latest rankings of publishers’ actions generated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by social media benchmarking and audience engagement analysis company Shareablee.
The Instagram account for American Express will be taken over starting Sunday (Nov. 9), but it’s not a hostile takeover: “Six talented photographers, entrepreneurs and tastemakers,” as the company put it, will bring their talents to @AmericanExpress for a two-week period.
Every picture tells a story, but what about every Facebook ad campaign? The social network teamed up with Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer and social media advertising technology firm Adaptly on a study in which two separate campaigns were run this past May for independent fashion and lifestyle website Refinery29. The results were detailed in a post on the Facebook for Business page.
