The extension of Facebook’s custom audiences ad-targeting feature to websites and mobile applications, initially announced by Facebook last October, has been rolled out globally, and the social network also announced that five buttons triggering calls to action — shop now, learn more, sign up, book now, and download — will soon be available in the lower-right-hand corner of page post ads.
With Facebook set to announce its third-quarter earnings Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, the average projections from Wall Street are $1.89 billion in revenue and earnings per share of $0.18, Seeking Alpha reported.
It seems like every week, Facebook acquires a company or is rumored to do so. This time, a report surfaced over the weekend, saying that Facebook could buy Zynga, now that the stock price of the popular game developer has fallen far enough. However, Business Insider says, “Not so fast.”
The appointment earlier this week of Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg to the social network’s board of directors eliminated the lack of female voices on the group, but another type of voice is still lacking, according to blog Seeking Alpha.
