The most likely Facebook friends to be unfriended are random people from high school, according to an ongoing study of unfriending on the social network by University of Colorado computer science PhD student Christopher Sibona, as reported by Vox.
Charlotte Willner, a Facebook employee since 2007 who worked under tell-all book The Boy Kings author Katherine Losse, said her former boss may have been exaggerating a bit when describing the sexist culture in the early days of the social network.
The teenage demographic has been one of the hardest to figure out in terms of how they interact with Facebook and other social media sites. A comprehensive study by Common Sense Media shows that 68 percent of teens polled said that Facebook is their main social networking site. Interestingly enough, 36 percent wished they could go back to a time before Facebook.
