NetZero has been an Internet pioneer since the days where it first started giving away free, ad-based Web service. Now the company is offering another unique service — giving fellow subscribers data via Facebook. NetZero, through a Facebook application, lets subscribers share 1 gigabyte of data each month to connections on the social network.

Ustream announced Thursday night the launch of Broadcast for Friends — an iPhone application that allows users to record live video, which instantly posts to Facebook.
