In other news from South By Southwest, Kenshoo, a Facebook Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer and provider of cloud-based digital marketing solutions and predictive media optimization technology, announced an integration with Oracle Social Cloud as part of Oracle’s recently announced open-application-programming-interface-based social media solution.
Just days after aligning with social marketing solutions provider SocialCode, social ad platform Moontoast announced that it will team up with global social marketing platform Kenshoo Social to enable brands to incorporate rich social media into their campaigns on the mobile and desktop versions of Facebook’s News Feed.
Online retailer Zappos ran a two-month test of an integrated Facebook marketing campaign with social marketing suite Kenshoo Social and cloud-based social marketing platform Shoutlet, and it resulted in some 85,000 visits to the Zappos website from a single Facebook page, as well as metrics that compared favorably with those achieved via other paid search and social marketing campaigns.
Digital marketing firms Resolution Media and Kenshoo analyzed nearly 65 billion Facebook ad impressions and 20 million Facebook ad clicks during a 12-month period to come to this conclusion: Men are cheap.
Facebook expanded on its Preferred Marketing Developer program, which debuted in April, with Thursday’s announcement at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco of a new, exclusive tier, Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer.
