Facebook will leave the pinning to Pinterest for a short while, as the Collections feature it began testing earlier this month is on hold temporarily, presumably so that the social network can optimize the feature for mobile.

Do you want to play around with Facebook’s want button? Not every user of the social network can. In addition to a want button, Facebook is also testing a collect button, and another like button designed specifically for products.

How many times have you seen a brand share an image of something that you’d like to buy? Facebook is taking a step toward closing that loop with Collections, allowing users to not only like, but collect, want, or buy products that brands share through images on the social network.
