The new Social API from Firefox is out of beta, as Mozilla released Firefox 17, complete with the application-programming interface’s integration with Facebook Messenger.

As originally announced earlier this month by Firefox parent Mozilla, the beta test of the Web browser’s Social API launched Monday with Facebook Messenger for Firefox.

Facebook Messenger will be the first application used to test the new Social API developed by Mozilla for its Firefox beta for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
