-This Week In Facebook Icon-While the mid-atlantic has wrapped up this week by posting photos of the blizzard to their Facebook profiles, Facebook itself has had a busy week. The most significant news about Facebook this week has been the backlash against Facebook’s privacy overhaul. With a new FTC complaint filed by 10 privacy organizations, Facebook is under increasing pressure to adjust how they transition users to the new privacy settings. Considering that most users (if not all) have been transitioned, it may be too little, too late.

-This Week In Facebook Icon-Last week was a big one for Facebook as they rolled out their new privacy settings. Initially there was a fair amount of backlash and there continues to be backlash through today as each Facebook user’s friends are now publicly accessible to any user (update: this issue appears to have been resolved). While the privacy changes will continue to receive widespread attention, it’s a step forward in terms of user control over content.

A law firm published that they are investigating a potential class action suit against a number of industry participants, currently looking for victims of reverse mobile billing scams from Facebook and other social platforms.
