Facebook Pages Manager Launches On Android In Select Countries

While Facebook users on iOS devices have had the luxury of Pages Manager to keep tabs on their pages, Android users have not, but it appears that the application has now made its way to those devices — however only in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. First noticed by Inside Facebook‘s Brittany Darwell, Pages Manager shows up in the Google Play store for U.S. and U.K. users, but is not available to them yet.

Senate Approves Act To Let Netflix Share U.S. Data With Facebook

Not long after the U.S. House of Representatives approved changes to a bill that would let video-rental services such as Netflix share viewer data (with their consent) to sites such as Facebook, the Senate gave its blessing, too. This means that soon, Netflix users will be able to share their movie histories with Facebook, much like music listeners do through applications such as SoundCloud, Songza, and Spotify.

Younger Users Flock To Facebook Mobile; Android Tops Apple In Worldwide Usage

It’s well-known that more people are accessing Facebook on mobile devices, and the trend is definitely not lost among the site’s younger users. According to a study from Macquarie Research, 56 percent of users between ages 15 and 25 surveyed said they check Facebook from their phones, up from 24 percent last year. Macquarie feels that this could rise to 70 percent next year.
