Perhaps seeking an answer to Facebookâs acquisition of photo-sharing application Instagram, Google announced Monday — via a post on Google Plus by Senior Vice President of Engineering Vic Gundotra — that it acquired Nik Software, parent of iOS photo-sharing app Snapseed.
