TBS, DumbDumb Team Up On Customized Comedy Videos For Brands On Facebook

Basic-cable juggernaut TBS and DumbDumb, the digital advertising and production company run by Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, will team up to create short-form customized comedy videos on Facebook for six brands.

Mashable reported that the content created by TBS and DumbDumb will launch on multiple platforms, including the Facebook pages of the cable network and the brands, before the sponsors decide their ultimate destinations.

TBS will also run commercials to drive engagement with the videos on Facebook and other platforms, according to Mashable.

Facebook Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions Carolyn Everson told Mashable:

Facebook and television work perfectly together, as Facebook has become the location where viewers discuss, experience, and share what they watch and what they love, creating true word-of-mouth at scale.

And Turner Entertainment and Young Adults Ad Sales President Donna Speciale told Mashable:

We are not just talking the talk about innovation; we are actively developing ways for our advertisers to creatively immerse their brands through a multiscreen approach that delivers great video to an engaged and interested audience on Facebook.
