Apple CEO Tim Cook Talks Facebook

Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook discussed the electronics giant’s relationship with Facebook at AllThingsD’s D10 Conference, emphasizing one message: “Stay tuned.”

This is what Cook had to say about Facebook (video below):

I think the relationship is very solid. We have great respect for them. I think we can do more with them. Just stay tuned.

They have their way of doing things, but people could say that about us, as well. Because you have a point of view doesn’t mean you can’t work with other people. As a matter of fact, I think in many cases, people who had strong points of view can appreciate each other even more.

We want to provide customers simple and elegant ways to do what they want to do. Anybody who has an iPhone or an iPad — we want them to have the best experience with Facebook on those platforms.

Readers: Do you think these two companies with strong points of view will ever find common ground so that Facebook appears alongside Twitter in Apple’s sharing options?
