How Much Time Do You Spend On Facebook? TimeRabbit Knows

Facebook users: Do you really want to know how much time you spend on the social network? If the answer to that question doesn’t scare you, TimeRabbit, an application from GigaWatch, is at your service.

GigaWatch said TimeRabbit is a stand-alone app, and not a browser plugin, so it is able to monitor Facebook usage across all major Web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. The company’s description of how the app works follows:

When you navigate to Facebook in any browser on your computer, TimeRabbit will start the timer and will start counting seconds. The timer will stop after five seconds from the moment you navigate out of Facebook or when your browser loses focus. It will also detect if you’re idle and, after 30 seconds of no mouse or keyboard activity detected, the counter will be stopped.
