More Facebook Marketing Consolidation: Unified Acquires PageLever

In yet another example of consolidation in the Facebook marketing sector, enterprise marketing technology provider Unified, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, announced Monday that it acquired Facebook pages analytics and management solution and fellow PMD PageLever.

The two companies said PageLever’s employees will join Unified as full-time employees in its offices in San Francisco and New York, adding that Unified will continue to support PageLever clients.

Unified Co-Founder and CEO Sheldon Owen said:

As marketers look for new ways to boost the return on their investments in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social channels, they need tools that holistically bring together paid, owned, and earned media. With the addition of PageLever, Unified now offers the industry’s most innovative Facebook news feed solution, along with the most complete social advertising platform to access all major social networks.

PageLever Co-Founders Jeff Widman and David Turner added:

As PageLever has grown, we’ve seen how Facebook content can be amplified with paid social advertising, and Unified is a clear leader in that market. We’re thrilled to join the Unified team and help deliver both companies’ shared vision to push social marketing and advertising forward through easy-to-use, innovative solutions that drive powerful results.
