VerticalResponse Debuts Coupon, Clipper Tools For Facebook Page Administrators

Marketing solutions provider VerticalResponse added two new features to its social platform, including one that allows Facebook page administrators to offer custom coupons via the social network.

VerticalResponse said its new Coupons tool allows page administrators to create and offer custom coupons that can be published as tabs on their Facebook pages, as well as on standalone Web pages.

Other features of Coupon include:

  • Page administrators can activate pop-up windows that require Facebook users to like the page before viewing the coupon, or Twitter users to follow the account.
  • Custom URLs for the coupons can be shared anywhere, including via email marketing campaigns that can be created directly from the VerticalResponse dashboard.
  • The number of coupons that can be created and managed is unlimited.

VerticalResponse also introduced a feature called Clipper, which allows users to save Web pages to their VerticalResponse Social accounts for sharing in future posts or campaigns.

Users can add “Clip It” buttons to their browser toolbars, and clipped URLs are automatically saved to their content libraries, after which they can change the link’s headline, body text, and thumbnail image before including it in campaigns.

Coupons and Clipper are both available free-of-charge to existing VerticalResponse Social subscribers.

VerticalResponse CEO Janine Popick said:

Small businesses know that they need to be more active on social media, but finding time to share content that’s engaging and drives sales is still a huge challenge. Our new Coupons and Clipper tools help solve this problem by making it as easy as possible for small businesses to promote incentives and content, giving new and existing customers a reason to connect with them on social media.
