We’ve wondered whether Skype possibly being for sale could explain why promised integration of the Internet telephony service within Facebook hasn’t actualized beyond the exchange of contacts. Microsoft’s emergence as the winning bidder, as announced this morning, could conceivably alter whether or not Skype would become more deeply integrated within the social network.
