Thinking about adding a promotion to your Facebook brand page? “Do it yourself,” says Votigo.
The social media marketing and promotions company is not being rude: Votigo introduced self-service access to its social media promotions platform.
The platform allows managers of Facebook brand pages to create promotions for their pages — including user-generated photo and video contests and sweepstakes — for $250-$450 per month, a much lower rate than Votigo’s premium solutions.
Votigo is also running a promotion of its own: The first 2,000 users who create self-service promotions using its platform by October 31 can access its contest and sweepstakes apps for just two cents.
The company said its self-service clients will have access to its secure back-end technology via an easy-to-use interface, adding that both small to midsized businesses and major brands have expressed interest in the offering thus far.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mike La Rotonda said:
We are proud of this platform, and we want to mark it as a milestone by giving something to businesses that will truly benefit from it. We’re not the first company to give away a large marketing credit to small and midsized businesses, but we really believe that our self-service platform is the best option in the market and an important tool for finding and retaining audiences on social media.
We have had the opportunity to serve a lot of incredible brands over the past few years, working with them to run innovative promotions that reach users in all different combinations of social channels. Between our premium solutions, our developer API, and now our self-service platform, we have an access level and a service level that fits businesses of any size and stage to engage customers on social media.
SocialAppsHQ also launched a do-it-yourself process last month for creating photo contests that appear under tabs on Facebook brand pages, for $29.99 per month.
