Windows Users: Upload Photos To Facebook Via URL

For Facebook users on Windows, the site recently made it easier to share photos. Now you can simply copy and paste a photo URL when prompted to upload a picture, as first discovered by a Reddit user.

CNET also picked up the tip, illustrating how users can easily post photos via their URLs:

If you see a photo online that you want to share, right-click on it and select “Copy Image URL.” Then go back to Facebook, selecting “Add Photo/Video.” When you go to upload a photo, paste the URL into the file name spot, and proceed as usual.

This is apparently only for those who access Facebook via Windows. We’ll let you know if Facebook says anything about adding this feature for Mac users.
