Update To Facebook Windows Phone 8 App Includes More Languages, Hashtag Support

The latest update to Facebook’s application for Windows Phone 8, released Friday, boosts the number of supported languages to 19 and adds several features.

Microsoft announced in a post on the Windows Phone Blog that version 5.1 of Facebook for Windows Phone 8 now:

  • Allows users to attach photos to messages and upload them in batches.
  • Unfriend other users and unlike posts directly via the app.
  • Support for hashtags.
  • Navigation improvements.
  • Performance tweaks.
