Facebook contests are a fun way to engage fans. Now Woobox, which develops fan-attracting applications, gives page administrators the ability to offer instant gratification with Instant Win. With this new app, users can enter to win a prize and find out immediately if they’ve won.
The company launched the app recently, and some early adapters are already loving the new technology. So far Rubbermaid, 30A.com, and Unidays have integrated Woobox’s Instant Win into their Facebook pages.
Instant win is fully customizable. Page admins can determine the odds of winning, and the app will randomly pick a user based on those odds. Admins can also allow users to come back and try again after a certain amount of time, fostering repeat visits to the page. Once the determined number of prizes or winners reaches its end, the offer will cease.
Within the app, companies can customize what non-fans see when they view the offer (called the fangate page), as well as every page that users view when they interact with the game.
