Yahoo To Facebook, Google Users: Login With Yahoo

YahooLogo650Facebook and Google users will soon no longer be able to use credentials from those sites to log in to Yahoo services such as fantasy sports and photo-sharing network Flickr, instead being required to register for Yahoo IDs, Reuters reported.

A Yahoo spokeswoman confirmed the move to Reuters, saying that it will roll out gradually, starting with the Yahoo Sports Tourney Pick’Em NCAA Tournament competition, and adding:

Yahoo is continually working on improving the user experience. (This) will allow us to offer the best personalized experience to everyone.

Facebook and Google sign-in buttons will be removed from all Yahoo properties, the spokeswoman told Reuters, declining to specify timing.
